The Carl Parker Computer Center will use a variety of software. The primary software that we will be introducing to your students is Open Office. Open Office is public domain software and it is free. For more information on the software please visit http://www.openoffice.org/.
Become familiar with our terms:
- For word processing we will use Writer.
- For multimedia presentations we will use Impress..
- For paint and free hand drawings we will use Draw.
- For spreadsheets we will use Calc.
- For databases we will use Base.
